Plastic surgery simulation for the Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone XS Max?
According to a new survey, the simulator seems to have become the new iPhone 7 Plus.
The iPhone Xs Max is the only new device with a new plastic surgery sim, the new survey revealed.
It is also the only one with a dedicated plastic surgery simulation, which is used for a variety of procedures including skin repair, liposuction, nose surgery, eye surgery, and facial reconstruction.
The survey, conducted by the app-maker AppBrain, asked more than 2,500 users of iOS 10 apps whether they would like to be treated by a plastic surgeon in the app.
Of the 1,500 participants, 50 per cent of those surveyed said they would be interested in receiving a surgery simulator, compared to 28 per cent who said they wouldn’t be interested.
Of the 1.5 million apps that have been released so far, 2.3 million have been for Apple’s new iPhone X and 8 devices.
The other 1.3 billion are for Android devices.
AppBrain’s survey revealed that the iPhone X has surpassed the iPhone 7 in popularity in China, while iPhone X S Max has taken over in the US.
In a statement, AppBrain CEO Chris Arnold said:”We’re excited about this growth for iPhone, but we know it’s only a matter of time before other devices catch up.
We think this is one of the most important milestones in Apple’s history, and we look forward to working with Apple and other partners to build the best apps on the new iPhones.”
Apple is currently preparing to launch the new flagship iPhone next month, so this could be Apple’s chance to introduce a new sim for the new phone.
If the simulator has taken off in China and the US, Apple could then be in a position to launch its own.
