The “Koch brothers” are suing plastic surgeon David Schilling for failing to properly perform an operation on their daughter Eminem, according to a lawsuit obtained by TechRadars.
The Kardashians’ lawyers filed the lawsuit on Thursday against Schilling, who performed the operation at a plastic surgeon in Dallas, Texas.
The lawsuit alleges that Schilling failed to properly diagnose Eminem’s breast cancer, which is rare in women, and failed to inform Eminem that she was going to be given chemotherapy treatments for the cancer.
In the lawsuit, the Kardashians claim that Schiller did not tell Eminem she would be undergoing chemotherapy, and instead prescribed her a “doctored” treatment that did not include chemotherapy.
The Kardashians are seeking unspecified damages.
Schilling was not immediately available for comment.
In a statement, Schilling said the Kardashies have not yet contacted him.
“I am deeply saddened by the allegations against my family and wish to offer my sincere apology,” he said.
“I am not a doctor, and do not practice any of the procedures I perform.
I’m deeply disappointed in my actions, and deeply regret my actions.”
Schilling’s attorney, Andrew Langer, said the operation was done “without anesthesia or aesthetic agents.”
Langer said Schilling had been given the proper authorization to perform the surgery.
The lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TechRadaru.
Schill has been performing cosmetic surgery on his family’s pet dogs, and the Kardashias’ lawsuit seeks unspecified damages for his failure to perform necessary procedures, including the operation on Eminem.
Schiller also has been sued for allegedly falsifying records, according a report from NBC News.
In the past, the family has claimed Schilling’s work has been fraudulent.
Schills has not been identified by name in the lawsuit.
