A family of five children and a single father, J. Walter Simpson, had their first child a year ago and, despite not knowing it, it is the first time their family has had a baby since the late 1970s.
The father, who died in 2009, was married to J.L. Westwood and had four children.
The youngest was a girl.
Simpson and his partner, Jana Westwood, have five children.
The family had their third child in October, and Simpson has told The Irish Times that it has been a blessing to have had so many children in such a short time.
“I don’t think anyone can imagine how difficult it was, but it’s so easy, you know?
You just have to keep going and doing your best,” he said.”
It’s been a pleasure to have them and the girls.
They are all very good children.”
When Simpson had a vasectomy, he was told the procedure would have an impact on his mental health.
“You’re just a very sad, lonely man who has lost everything,” Simpson told The Sunday Times.
But then I went to the doctors and they said, ‘If you had a better idea of how it was going to affect you, we wouldn’t have done it’.””
I was quite shocked and I didn’t know what to think.”
But then I went to the doctors and they said, ‘If you had a better idea of how it was going to affect you, we wouldn’t have done it’.
“That was really exciting and a huge relief.
I was still having problems.”
Simpson’s first child, Jia, was born on January 5, and the family have three more on the way.
“We’re not done with Jia yet,” Simpson said.
“It’s just a few weeks away and I want to do a good job.”
While Simpson has said the operation has not been difficult, it has meant that his daughter, who is also six months pregnant, cannot have children.
“She doesn’t want to have children and she’s a very happy girl,” Simpson explained.
“She’s really happy.
She has a beautiful family.”
