The internet has gone nuts over an article by a New York Times writer who claimed that the cosmetic surgeon who helped make her famous was a liar.
Kylie Jenner’s cosmetic surgery career was based on an act of self-promotion that went on for more than two decades.
But after she was seen as a celebrity, Jenner said she was “unhappy” with her appearance and began to see her appearance as a form of “social media bullying” by others.
“I was like, I don’t have to do this anymore,” Jenner said in a podcast.
“I don’t want to do it anymore.
I don- I don.
I want to be able to have a normal life.
I- I am not happy with my face.
I’m not happy.”
She said the appearance was so bad that it was even threatening to her mental health.
“People would call me and I would go, ‘What are you talking about?’
I would get really upset.
It’s like, what is this about?
What is this all about?
I had to be more aware,” she said.
When Jenner became the face of the Kardashian family, the public began to notice her “glittering” and “vibrant” skin, and Jenner’s fans began to talk about her appearance.
A few years ago, Jenner decided to try her hand at plastic surgery in the hopes of improving her looks.
“There’s a lot of plastic surgery out there that you can’t do, but I want it to be like I did it,” she told Diane Sawyer on The View.
“It’s not about the price.
I can make a good amount of money out of this, and it’s a really, really great thing.”
The public, however, took her comments as a threat, with one commenter calling her “a whore” and another calling her a “fraud”.
“It’s like someone took an idea and they thought it was a good idea, but then the idea was taken out of context,” Jenner told Sawyer.
“That’s the worst thing.
You’re a fraud.”
But Jenner says she is still happy with her cosmetic surgery, even if it was done “in a lie”.
“I am not proud of it,” Jenner added.
“When I do it, it’s for me.
And I’m going to be happy with it.”
